In the studio, you can modify an attribute for all your venue places at once.
Go to Places / click on "..." / Batch Edit / Download places as xlsx
In this file, you will find all these attributes:
Id | Unique id for the software (invisible for users). |
alias | Used to create links from or towards a POI (invisible for users and is not taken into account by the search bar). |
floor | Floor number where the POI is located. |
isClickable | True or false. |
isPublished | True or false. |
isSearchable | True or false. |
isVisible | True or false. |
name | Name of POI (must be unique, is invisible for users and is NOT taken into account by the search bar). |
order |
-1, 0, 1, 2, ... Handles the display order depending on the zoom level due to the anti-collision system. |
placeTypeId | This will add a specific icon to the POI depending if it's a room or a store or a restroom for example. |
searchKeywords |
The keywords are used to redirect users to a given POI even if they do not search for the exact word which is in the title or subtitle. For example: If you add the word 'Food' to the keywords of the POI 'Restaurant' then by typing 'Food', the user will be redirected to the POI 'Restaurant' in the search bar. However, the word 'Food' will remain invisible to users. |
source | The source name will appear if you upload a file with the source menu. |
style.fillColor | Polygon color. |
style.fillOpacity | Polygon opacity. |
style.markerDisplay |
True or false. This can be used to disable the display of the icon and title from a polygon. For example, if your map already contains logos and if you don't want to repeat the information by adding an icon and the title, you can disable the marker display. |
style.markerUrl | If you decide to use a customized icon for a POI instead of the ones in Mapwize studio, this is where you should add the https url of your icon. |
style.strokeColor | Polygon stroke color. |
style.strokeOpacity | Polygon stroke opacity. |
style.strokeWidth | Polygon stroke width. |
translations.0.details | The details field is used if you need to add style to a POI data. If you wish to add a specific image or text in bold, then this is where you should add it. However the details field is NOT taken into account by the search bar. |
translations.0.hasDetails | True or false. |
translations.0.language | en, fr, ... |
translations.0.subTitle | This is where you can add extra information for a POI. It should only be a few words and no specific style can be applied. The subtitle field is only visible by clicking on a POI and is taken into account by the search bar. |
translations.0.title | The title is the name of the POI you see directly on the map. It is the main word users will type in the search bar. |
universes | Universe id where POI is located. |
universes.0 | Universe id where POI is located (if you have several universes). |
delete | True or false. Use with caution! |
Once you've edited the attributes you need, you can simply save and upload the same file by clicking on 'Upload modified xlsx file':
