With the Auto-translate feature, all your content gets automatically translated in multiple languages using Google Translate.
The Auto-translate feature is an option that is not enabled by default on all subscriptions. Please check with your Mapwize Account Manager for details. Your account might allow you to build maps in multiple languages while the Auto-translate is disabled. In that case, you need to provide the translations by yourself.
Enabling multiple languages on your venue
In Mapwize Studio, on the venue properties page, you can enable multiple languages for your venue. The first language is going to be the default one.
With the Auto-translate feature, as soon as you add a new language to your venue, all the objects in that venue (the venue itself, place and place lists) will be translated in the new language from the default language.
Translating places and place lists
When creating or editing places or place lists, you can specify yourself the translation. If you leave a translation blank in one language while the default language is not blank, the translation will be filled automatically.
Don't forget to use the batch edit to modify the translations of many places at once or to remove some translations to force a new automatic translation.
